This brooch is a homage to my grandma Lena and her floor. The floor in every room in her house are painted by her, in different patterns and colors.  I’ve always said that if I ever have my own house, I’ll paint one room like this. This piece is almost like my own heirloom of her. She said I should always keep the brooch in my possession to remember.
